Hikoi Rangihoua (A Kiwi Camino) – Parnell to Puhoi Pilgrimage, 25th – 27th March 2018
Vaughan Park Anglican Retreat Centre offers you a 3 day guided group pilgrimage from Holy Trinity Cathedral in Parnell to Puhoi.
Day 1 Sunday 25th March
Depart Holy Trinity Cathedral, Parnell at 7:00am. Harbour ferry crossing and service at Devonport Naval Base. Visit to Patuone’s grave site and 26 km coastal walk to Vaughan Park. Enjoy dinner and a historical and spiritual evening programme. Stay overnight at this wonderful place of hospitality.
Day 2 Monday 26th March
Walk the beautiful Okura Bush Track to Stillwater. Transfer, to the historic St Stephen’s Church, Whangaparaoa for lunch. Walk through to Orewa in time for dinner at St Chads Church. Overnight ensuite accommodation at Top 10 Holiday Park, Orewa.
Day 3 Tuesday 27th March
Walk the scenic coast from Orewa through to Wenderholm. Kayak up the Puhoi river and visit the historic Church of Saints Peter and Paul. The Hikoi will conclude with dinner at the iconic Puhoi Pub with vehicle transfer back to Parnell.
