    New director and chaplain

We are thrilled to share the very good news that the Governance Board has appointed new Director, Lesley Snyman and new Chaplain, the Rev. Sapati Tima to Vaughan Park.

The Ordination of Sapati as Chaplain and Lesley’s Commissioning as Director will be held at The Church of the Holy Sepulchre, 71 Khyber Pass Road, Grafton, Auckland on Sunday 8th December @ 10am. We extend a warm invitation to you to come along to this very special service.

Lesley, her husband, Marc and their two boys, Matthew and Daniel are from South Africa and are living on the North Shore. Sapati, his wife Meiolandre and their children, Salan, Iolefitu and Sapenapaenea have shifted from South Auckland to live on site at Vaughan Park.

Nau mai haere mai to them all as they make this beautiful place and space their home. We offer them our support and our care and pray God’s loving blessing upon them and their families.

  • New Christmas song to lift your spirits

The touching and compassionate response of Aotearoa New Zealand to the Christchurch Mosque shootings inspired the writing of Christmas carol This is the Day (Te Rangimarie) by Josh Jones, former front man of chart-topping British band The Quads, Co-Vicar of St. George’s Anglican Church, Epsom, Auckland and former Vaughan Park Scholar.
